This 1.5 hour program covers how to evaluate ponds to determine if it is an asset to a property or a major liability.

We will provide an overview of ponds, their maintenance, care and upkeep. Attendees will learn about the basic structures of a pond, how to assess their condition, and the potential costs of remediating existing issues in a pond.

This course is relevant to real estate agents, new landowners, and those in the market for a new property.

At the end of the program registrants will be able to identify potential issues that could become a liability to potential future owners, more specifically:

  • The importance of managing noxious aquatic vegetation and relative control costs
  • Water quality testing and amendment costs
